Introduction:

1/Britten The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra (Teldec Classic) performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the direction Sir Andrew Davis
Here in the House to listen, we like Britten. It is already apparent in either selection. Today is a different story. This piece is the piece by teaching excellence. It was created to accompany a film that presents the various instruments making up the orchestra. For this noble educational goal, Britten takes a theme and fugue from Purcell Abdelazar, or the revenge of the Moor. The 13 variations account each time an instrument (or group of instruments). In the fugue, the instruments are their entries in the same order as in the variations. We will not, unfortunately, the end (except those who have the CD). 2/Miwon Vertizontal (City Centre-Offices)
For the founding members of RED / Educational Laboratory (sorry I like this phrase a bit pompous), this piece has a manifesto. Indeed, one of our main axioms of work is based on the notion of "transversality." In the classroom, the teacher is compelled to choose between the vertical relationship ("Authority master's premium ") and the horizontal relationship (" the teacher as friend "). These two requirements lead to an impasse. The cross-sectional relationship (according vertizontale Miwon) is a position that refers back to back these two approaches. In the land of pop music of Spain, Juan Sanchez is my master. He is the man who danced in the Plaza of Altea for 20 years and I would like to pay tribute.
